Boston College M.A. Higher Education Competency Narratives

     Boston College requires students in the Higher Education MA program to complete a portfolio that encapsulates their work over the course of a two year program. The core competencies outlined in this portfolio are:

• Values, Philosophy and History

• Personal and Ethical Foundations

• Social Justice and Inclusion

• Global and Intercultural Engagement 

     I pursued the Student Affairs track within the Higher Education program, and elected to share my work from the Advising and Supporting competency as well.
