Higher Education Master's Portfolio
My overarching professional focus is to help students discover and pursue their passions, both through their extracurricular opportunities and in their career and major pursuits. My experience and strengths specifically lead me to pursue positions in involvement, academic advising and first-year experience, and I intend to employ the skills I have gained over the past several years to contribute to student success. This website is a compilation of the work that I have completed during my program, both in my assistantships and in the classroom.
I currently serve as a graduate assistant in Boston College's Office of Student Involvement where I advise the Undergraduate Government, the Elections Committee, and the Senior Week Planning Committee which together include more than 50 students who provide events for more than 2,000 of their peers.
I also served in Framingham State University's Office of New Student and Family Programs as the Graduate Assistant for Orientation Programs. In this role, I helped develop training for 18 orientation leaders and assisted in the planning and facilitation of the virtual advising and registration days.
